Kristy Bartlett is no stranger to the pain and pleasure of growing a business having been in the Real Estate and Finance industry for over 25 years. As a top 10 salesperson for the Ray White Group, Kristy was one of the youngest Directors at age 24 to have her own franchise, building it into a top 10 office with her business partner employing over 25 staff members.

She then took on the role as GM of Ray White Victoria to grow and improve the business assisting business owners get up and running, grow their team and implement systems and processes. Following her success in this position, she moved on to the Loan Market side  to ensure all Broking business’ were set up for success. 

After visiting the UK on a finance study tour, Kristy was approached by Mortgage Advice Bureau to head up Partnerships in the Australian market. Although leaving the Ray White/Loan Group after 20 years sounded daunting, she was excited to take on a new challenge. She could see the innovation in technology coming from the UK in the Finance and Real Estate space and she was thrilled to be able to be a market leader in bringing these new initiatives to the Australian market.

Although Kristy has had a successful career of her own, she is married to Josh who owns and runs a very successful Broking business in Bayside Melbourne.  He is currently in the top 1% of Mortgage Brokers in Australia, winner of over 50 industry awards,

this year taking home AFG Champion Broker and ‘Broker of the Year’ at the Australian Broker Awards – Best Residential Broker 2023.

In the past, Kristy believed it was all about agents referring to brokers, and we are now seeing a trend of the broker referring to the agent. “We have so much financial information that really tells a story of someone’s stage of life and when they will be making their next move. Clients are now running numbers with their brokers first to see what is doable if they do decide to move so we are often seeing the client first before the agent. Its an exciting time ahead with open banking and AI, predicting our clients next move will be huge so I think Real Estate agents really need to make sure they are partnered with forward thinking brokers and work together for great customer outcomes”.

With huge business growth in the last 12 months, it made sense for Kristy to join Josh at Mynt Financial to help grow and manage the business, taking it to the next level together.
